Gibson started making their LG-0 model in the year 1958. The guitar has a cool, vintage, bluesy vibe to it. These get more and more and more popular every year. Vintage Gibsons of all stripes are getting harder and harder to come by because of that.
We are selling this guitar for one of our regular customers. This particular guitar is a 1965-1967 model. There were 2 cracks on the top, one on the bottom about 4 inches long, and one near the fretboard about 2 inches long. These have been repaired at some time. The tuning keys were replaced at some point, but other than that, everything is original. At some point someone had added a trapezoid tailpiece, but it was removed. There is a screw hole where that was added on the bottom of the guitar. There is pretty standard checking throughout the guitar. A strap button was added at the base of the neck. Overall the guitar is in very good shape for it's age, and is structurally sound. Joints and bracing are very tight. This guitar plays and sounds amazing!
